Smoky Mountain Speedway Hosts USCS Sprints and $7,500 SAS Late Models April 29th

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (April 23, 2017)—The Annual Rockin’ with the Stars presented by WIMZ 103.5 FM event at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. will run on Saturday Night April 29th featuring the USCS Outlaw Thunder Winged Sprint Cars plus the USCS Mini Sprints and the Southern Allstar Super Late Models.

Saturday’s Rockin’ with the Stars event features three divisions in competition for the evening with the USCS Outlaw Thunder Winged Sprint Cars racing for $2,500-to-win while the USCS Mini Sprints will race for $500-to-win. The Southern Allstar Super Late Models will compete for the $7,500-to-win prize. This will be the second of big money Super Late Model events in the area as Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. will host the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series for the Fifth Annual Scott Sexton Memorial on Friday April 28th paying $10,052-to-win.

On Saturday April 29th, the pit gates open at 3:00 pm and the tier parking plus grandstand gates will swing open at 4:00 pm. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:00 pm and hot laps will roll out at 6:30 pm.

Adult general admission is $20.00 while children ages 6-11 will be admitted for $5.00 and children five and under will be admitted for free. Adult tier parking admission is $25.00 while children ages 6-11 will be $10.00 and children five and under are free. Adult pit passes are $35.00 per person while children 11 and under are $15.00.

Some big Super Late Model events are coming to Smoky Mountain Speedway over the next three weekends. The Southern Allstars make their first visit of the season on April 29th for $7,500-to-win then the Tennesee Tipoff Classic on Thursday Night May 4th featuring the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series racing the Consolation Race(s) and the 75-lap main event paying $15,000-to-win. The next Saturday May 13th the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series will visit the Smoky Mountain Speedway for the Mountain Outlaw 50 paying $10,000-to-win.
