Skyline Speedway hosting race for Balzano, Shaver & others

Thought that this would be of interest to some of the 4m folks. The Skyline Speedway in Stewart Ohio (Athens basically) is hosting a throwback legends race that will have the Carpenter boys and some more do throwback cars to honor Steve Shaver and Mike Balzano, Ron Bond and a few others? Think it's a pretty cool concept and should be neat to see some of these guys and cars once again! $2,000 to win Late Models and $1,000 Mods

Race is this Friday the 5th with rain date set for Sunday the 7th

It will be a more somber celebration than originally planned, with the passing of Ronnie Bond on Sunday. Condolences to the Bond family from everyone at Ohio Valley Speedway. Hopefully the weather will hold up for at least one of the planned race days.

Should be a good show. Don't think Skyline is that exciting in the daytime, but their should be plenty of things that make the day fun from the sounds of it.
