    Default bar adjustment

    What is the prefer way to make a bar adjustment on a 4 bar modified, shock in front spring behind lr, where is the best place to place the jack, every way i seem to try it seems to be in a bind. Is there any tricks to adjusting the lr bars

    Usually, with the rear hanging on the chain, you need to put some pressure on the backside of the LR cage. It is very easy to go too far. The best way is to remove the nut at the chassis and turn the bolt as someone slowly jacks up on the backside of the cage. Stop them when the bolt frees up.

    We use a 24 pry bar and wedge it between the axle tube and the upper bar bolt on the cage. Push forward toward the front of the car with your right hand and use your left hand to pull out the bolt. If you wedge the pry bar right it'll hold the upper bar in place to get the bolt back in the hole you want it in. It helps a lot if the brackets holes are on the same radius as the bar length.
