    Default setting toe

    when setting toe do you square up the left side and toe the right side out about an 1/8 or do you square the right side and toe the left out.... 3100# clip leaf spring car

    I was taught to center the steering,first, then lock it down with vise grips and zip ties. Then square up the left side tires and set toe in rf.

    Most have a preset RF so you don't change Bump steer once its set, Center your steering pivots rough in toe, do your bump lock the RF length in and reset toe using LF

    One other thing.....I run a string between 2 jackstands and line up the left sides. Their tracks are parallel not equal in width. In other words, at ride height, the lr is in the same plane as the lf, regardless of rearend alignment.
