Ponderosa Speedway’s Big Daddy Classic Postponed to June 10

Junction City, KY (May 12, 2017)- Ponderosa Speedway was set to present the 2nd Annual Big Daddy Classic on Friday evening May 12, however, rains that have fell Thursday evening and overnight on Thursday, along with rain still falling on Friday morning and forecast for a majority of the afternoon on Friday has forced Ponderosa Speedway to postpone the 2nd Annual Big Daddy Classic.

The make-up date for the event will be Saturday June 10 and will feature the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Series Super Late Models racing for $3,088 to win. Also on June 10, the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series has been added to the program and will see the Open Wheel Modifieds race for $1,288 to win, along with the Pro (Crate) Late Models racing for $1,288 to win. The KDRA Super Stocks ($788 to win), Stock Four Cylinders ($388 to win), and Mini-Cup/Cyclones ($188 to win) will also be in action at the Big Daddy Classic on Saturday June 10.

The next event on the schedule at Ponderosa Speedway will be on Friday May 26 and will be the 5th Annual Red Clay Bash, which will feature the MARS East Dirt Car Series Super Late Models racing for $3,000 to win, along with the Friday Night Thunder event for the KDRA Super Stocks, paying $1,200 to win, plus Pro (Crate) Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Stock Four Cylinders, and Mini-Cup/Cyclones.
