Jeep Van Wormer Heads Back to Tri-City Motor Speedway this Friday Night

(PINCONNING, MICHIGAN) The Iron Motorsports team made a last minute decision to invade the nearby Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Michigan on Friday night, May 12 for a weekly Super Late Model showdown. Jeep Van Wormer blasted past five competitors during his heat race to finish in the third position and later rolled off from the outside of the sixth row in the $1,055 to win main event.

The Pinconning, Michigan ace then quickly moved up to third in the headliner and was battling for the second spot when he got collected in a wreck in lapped traffic. The result from the unfortunate incident was a flat left front tire on his #55 Brucebilt machine and Jeep was forced to retire from the event in the twentieth position. Fueled by the bad luck from last week, Jeep and his #55 team have decided to once make the short trek to Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Michigan this Friday evening, May 19 for another weekly program.
