Cory Hedgec ock Parks New Car in Victory Lane

Loudon, Tennessee (05/23/17) – Cory Hedgec ock debuted his brand-new Cushman #23 Valley Transport Rocket XR1 Chassis Steel Head Late Model in fine style on Saturday night. He parked it in Victory Lane on its maiden voyage.

“The night started a little slowly for us because we have a lot to learn about the new car, but we really got rolling in the feature,” Hedgec ock said. “I’m really excited about the potential that we have with new Rocket XR1. It’s a little different from what we’ve gotten used to with the older cars, but it’s obvious already that there’s a ton of speed in it. Thanks to everybody at Rocket Chassis for their help, and also thanks to all of my great sponsors.”

Cory Hedgec ock traveled to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Friday night for the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals, sanctioned program. With 23 Super Late Models registered in for the $4,000-to-win A-Main, Hedge(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) rolled off deep in the field for the feature and would ultimately register a 17th-place finish in the 40-lapper.

The following night Cory stopped at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee), debuting in his brand-new Rocket XR1 Chassis Super Late Model. After a slow start to the night, Hedgec ock started 4th on the grid for the feature before charging to his fourth straight win at the facility. He topped Brad Coffey, Ryan Tims, Johnny Ridings, and Paul Tims at the finish line. The victory marked his 10th overall on the season.
