Bloomquist, McDowell, Dennis Erb. All three are very good running the middle or bottom and don't need to rely on a big cushion to win at Eldora. The cushion is faster, and more exciting, but also very difficult to master for 100 laps. One mistake and the race is over.
I'm as big a Marlar fan as anyone, but Mike has never quite gotten a handle on the big E during the feature races. Good qualifying. Good in heats. Not so good in features. He's said as much before.

My picks as well. They're running so strong everywhere they go right now.
But I would love to see Marlar or Devin Moran win it.

I appreciate all the answers. With so many drivers running well I figured there would be a wide range of names tossed out there. Considering his track record you'd expect Bloomer to get to be the top choice. However, after that the choices are very varied and that's what you'd expect. It really makes you wonder how in a season where no one driver has been over the top dominant how DoD has a unanimous consensus on their top driver poll almost every week for 2 years.
I counted up quickly and didn't double check but thus far the results...
Bloomer - 14
B-Shep - 7
Babb - 5.5
Pierce - 5
T-Mac - 3
Erb - 3
Richards - 2
Overton - 2
Owens - 2
Mc Dowell - 2
Shirley - 1
Marlar - 1.5
EPJ - 1
JD - 1
At least we can't agree on anything. LOL

Good point on Marlar. I just think he's having one of those seasons where you can't count him out. He ran well at I-80 which is a big track. He won Knoxville last year. It will be interesting to see how he does at the Show Me.

Maybe he's due.

I want to see someone that doesn't immediately come to mind win this years Dream. A Casey Roberts or Freddy Carpenter type driver.
With so many guys running well it may be harder than usual for a true dark horse to win it. It would be nice if there was an upset though.
I'm actually surprised more people didn't pick Erb after winning last year and finishing 2nd at the World.

I seem to recall Sheppard winning the DTWC a couple times. The guy can wheel. Richards just isn't good at Eldora.
Modern Day Wedge Racing
Florence -2
Atomic - 1

Didn't Shep win a pair of prelims one year at Eldora? I can't remember if it was the Dream or the World, but he didn't end up making the field that year. Maybe it was 2015 because they changed the rules after that.
