Richmond Raceway’s Four Cylinder Fury $1,000 to win Saturday June 3

Richmond, KY- May 28, 2017- Richmond Raceway track promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will present the Four Cylinder Fury this Saturday night June 3 at the 3/10-mile semi-banked clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” for Stock Four Cylinders, which will pay $1,000 to win for the Stock Four Cylinder division. Also on the Four Cylinder Fury racing card for Saturday June 3 will be the track’s Late Model ($1,500 to win), Open Wheel Modified ($1,000 to win), and KDRA Super Stock ($750 to win) divisions.

Richmond Raceway will present Four Cylinder Fury on Saturday June 3 and the Stock Four Cylinder division will be highlighted in a $1,000 to win main event. Also on the Four Cylinder Fury racing program for June 3 will be the Late Model division racing for $1,500 to win, Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win, and KDRA Super Stocks racing for $750 to win. All divisions will utilize the practice/time trial combo format to determine heat race starting positions. Richmond Raceway also uses transponder timing/scoring and the rental fee for a transponder is $10. RACEceivers are also mandatory and must be is use by drivers anytime they are in their cars out on the track. Also of note, drivers are encouraged to arrive early and need to be at the track no later than 5:30 p.m. if possible.

Activities for the Saturday June 3 Four Cylinder Fury racing event at Richmond Raceway will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., with the general admission area gates set to open at 4:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 5:45 p.m., with practice/time trial laps set to get underway at 6:15 p.m., and the first green flag to start the racing action will wave at 7:30 p.m. All times EDT. Ticket prices for the Four Cylinder Fury event on Saturday June 3 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free. A pit pass will be $35, with children ages 6 to 12 $15, and children ages 5 and under free.
