DUNN, NC (June 2, 2017) – Dunn Benson Motorsports owned by Carlton and Kemp Lamm with driver Earl Pearson Jr. are excited to announce a new partnership/sponsorship with Campbell University located in Buies Creek, NC. Founded in 1887 Campbell University is inspired by its Baptist heritage and Christian values and is considered one of the top private universities in the state of North Carolina led by President Dr. J. Bradley Creed. Campbell University also has a growing Athletic Department with multiple sports programs and recently announcing the Football Program will now offer scholarships and join the Big South Conference in 2018.

Under this new partnership with Campbell University, Dunn Benson Motorsports will carry the Campbell University logos on their cars for all race events for the remainder of the 2017 racing season as an associate sponsor. In addition to their partnership with Dunn Benson Motorsports, Campbell University will be the Presenting Sponsor of the national event at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, NC on July 6th when the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series makes its only stop in the state of NC. The Dunn Benson Ford "Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial" Presented by Campbell University, will now be even bigger with Campbell's presence at this National event. Campbell University in association with Fayetteville Motor Speedway will use this event as an opportunity to entertain incoming recruits, students, past alumni and inform race fans about Campbell University and their different programs they offer to students not only in North Carolina but nationwide.

Dunn Benson Motorsports will also provide a Campbell University Racecar/Showcar with a special Campbell graphics design under this new partnership. This show car will be used not only at the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event on July 6th, but also at Campbell student orientation, homecoming weekend, sports events and other activities to provide Campbell University an opportunity to inform and educate incoming and current students and athletes about the University and their programs they offer.

"We are very excited to partner with Campbell University! It's a great opportunity to help promote, educate and inform people about this great college just down the road from us in Buies Creek, NC. At the same time it's an opportunity for our race team to reach a new market and create new fans for our sport that we love. The President, Dr. Creed and everyone at Campbell University have been wonderful to work with during this whole process. They are very excited to be a part of our race team and the added benefits of partnering with us because of our TV package we have on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Campbell will gain unique brand awareness and exposure for their University to people all over the country and as the presenting sponsor of the national event in July in Fayetteville, NC. Were honored that Campbell University has agreed to be a part of our Race Team", stated Carlton and Kemp Lamm, owners of Dunn Benson Motorsports.

Dunn Benson Motorsports and Campbell University will be planning several neat programs under this partnership for students and fans to be a part of including a big Race Day Party on July 6th in conjunction with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event in Fayetteville, NC. Additional activation opportunities are being planned with some really cool things for students and race fans as part of this partnership. Dunn Benson Motorsports will also be participating at Campbell University Sporting events as well at various events through the end of the year.

"I am pleased that Campbell University will be a partner with the Lamm Family as a sponsor of their Dunn Benson Motorsports Race Team," said Dr. J. Bradley Creed, president of Campbell University. "We believe in supporting local businesses and look forward to sharing the Campbell story with race fans across North Carolina and(not a nice word)the country."

With the support of the Lamm Family and Dunn Benson Ford and now the addition of Campbell University, the 2017 Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial presented by Campbell University, is sure to be a huge success.
