Rule for time trials changed 3 quarters of the way through?
Drivers told 2 laps fastest of the 2 counts. Then once they were a about 75% the cars wrg ump/ dirt car say that only the 2nd lap counts..... I heard the drivers were p*ssed. Can anyone confirm this?

Can't confirm but it wouldn't surprise me though. I don't know who would get ticked off since they just shuffle the deck after they qualify and too often shuffle the finishing order after the checkers falls. In other words, it doesn't matter what you do, the WRG will find a way to f@ck everyone.

Some made out better but Sheppard went from 4th overall I believe to 16th

If true, it's totally rediculous and wrong.

Would you expect anything less from an event with WRG involvement??

It was just a mistake on Race Monitor...the fastest lap was recorded and used.

Sounds like all is well....

This time trial format is a joke anyway. If you go out early, and are at all fast, you'll be up front. The times fall off so abruptly, if you time at the end of the line, you're playing catchup all night. Instead of trials, might as well draw them out of a hat. Probably be better racing as well.jmuo.

The track is always too dryslick to qualify on, with the first ones out having the advantage of a little more moisture. It's does not pay to qualify in the top 12 or even 24 most of the time. Sand bagging is a part of this game.
