Kansas Klash up next for Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series

The Malvern Bank Series will be invading the Jayhawk State on June 16 & 17 for the Kansas Klash. First up the series will be at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas on Friday, June 16 for the opening event of the Klash. The series competed in a two-day show at Lakeside in October, 2014 with Justin Zeitner and Ryan Gustin picking up series wins.

Then the series moves over to Thunder Hill Speedway near Mayetta, Kansas on Saturday, June 17 for the series first visit to that facility. Malvern Bank series regulars will be joined at both facilities by drivers from the NE Smith series. “We are looking forward to returning to Lakeside Speedway and then making our inaugural stop at Thunder Hill in Mayetta,” comments Series Director Joe Kosiski. “We think our drivers will put on a great show for the fans.” The Kansas Klash event scheduled for Heartland Park Topeka for June 18 has been cancelled.

The series point standings were shuffled this past Saturday at the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa as Tad Pospisil picked up his third series win of the season while series point leader Jesse Sobbing was involved in an accident and finished 21st. Following Pospisil to the checkers were Corey Zeitner, Kyle Berck, J.C. Wyman and Matt Buller. Pospisil now takes over the point lead with 660 points followed by Berck with 650, Bill Leighton, Jr. 644, Corey Zeitner 638 and Sobbing at 630.
