(Burnside, KY) Lake Cumberland Speedway resumed back into racing this past Saturday night, June 3rd after a rainout. We had 16 Late Models, 10 Open Wheel Modifieds, 12 KDRA Super Stocks, and 17 Stock 4-Cylinders on hand. It was an action packed night of racing folks!

Tommy Bailey would be the fastest qualifier in the late model division in the #11 Machine with a 13.637. Payton Harlow in the Open Wheel Modified Division in the #155 Machine with a 15.053. Bartley Grant in the KDRA Super Stock Division in the #43 Machine with a 15.793. Rodney Burton in the Stock 4-Cylinder Division in the #21 Machine with a 17.341.

Late Model Division;

Heat 1 Finish- 1. #35 Dennis Barton; 2. #9 Derrick Meadors; 3. #7 Matthew Smith (Robert Luttrell Jr. in the #75 Machine, and Zane Powell in the #28P Machine did not make the field due to some mechanical issues)

Heat 2 Finish- 1. #88 Skylar Marlar; 2. #98 Eric Centers; 3. #17 Steve Stollings; 4. #3 Wesley Ball

Late Model Trophy Dash Finish; Caleb Ashby in the #61 Machine made a last lap pass under the checkered flag to take the win. Tommy Bailey in the #11 Machine had a VERY CLOSE second place finish! Rod Carter Jr in the #21 machine finished 3rd, Steve Elliott in the #1 Machine takes 4th, Brian Smith in the #7S Machine comes in 5th, and Jimmy Smith in the #117 Machine follows in at 6th.

Open Wheel Modified Trophy Dash; Kevin Copher in the #509 Machine would make the last lap pass under the checkered flag to take 1st place while Payton Harlow in the #155 Machine would be close behind him to take 2nd. Ben Petrey in the #43 Machine would take 3rd, Michael Pratt in the #122 Machine came in 4th. Logan Burke in the #Z28 Machine takes 5th. John Smith in the #23 brings it home with a 6th place finish.
