CARNESVILLE, GA – Henry Hornsby III of Beckley, WV leads the FASTRAK National Weekly Racing Series point standings after the first ten weeks of the 2017 season. Hornsby, also known as H3, has 420 points out of a possible 450. H3 has a pair of 45 point wins and eight top five finishes in ten races.

Drivers will use their best 15 finishes for their season point total. The top driver at the end of the season will pick up a check for $10,000 at the Annual FASTRAK Awards Banquet as the 2017 FASTRAK National Weekly Racing Series Champion.

Frankie Beard of Hartwell, GA is second in the FASTRAK National Weekly Racing Series points chase with 404 points. Beard has one 45 point win and seven top five finishes in ten starts. Adam Smith is third with 388 points after three 45 point wins and seven top five finishes in ten starts.

Tyler Stutler holds the fourth spot in the FASTRAK National Weekly Racing Series standings with 379 points that includes two 45 point wins and four top five finishes in ten races. Michael Bland is fifth with 343 points after a pair of top five finishes in nine races. Parker Herring and Drew Benfield are tied for sixth with 333 points, but technically, Herring holds the position.

Benfield only has five of his nine starts as a FASTRAK member. Herring has seven top five finishes in eight starts. Tyler Arrington is eighth in the FASTRAK National Weekly Racing Series standings with 331 points with six top five finishes in eight races. Troy Frazier of Montclair, WV is ninth with 328 points that includes four top five finishes in nine races. Sparky Davisson rounds out the top ten in the FASTRAK National Weekly Racing Series standings with 325 points with two top five finishes in nine races.

In FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series Division competition, Smith leads the Division 1 standings with 388 points followed by Beard with 371 points in second, Herring and Benfield tied for third with 333 points, and Derek Harvey is fifth with 317 points.

Division 1 is made up of Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA and Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, GA. Last weekend, Danny Sanders took the win on Saturday night at Lavonia Speedway, and the defending FASTRAK National Weekly Racing Series Champion David McCoy of Franklin, NC took the win at Toccoa Raceway last Saturday night.

FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series Division 1 action will take place this Friday night at Lavonia Speedway, which will also host a FASTRAK sister series event with the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series South East Region competing in a $4,000-to-win, $400-to-start race. Toccoa Raceway will host the FASTRAK Pro Late Model Series South East Touring event this Saturday night, paying $2,000-to-win and $250-to-start.

Arrington leads the FASTRAK Division 2 standings with 292 points, and Hornsby is second with 254 points. T.J. Salango is third with 252 points, Terry Cregger is fourth with 243 points and Eddie Hambrick is fifth with 230 points. Division 2 is made up of Beckley Motorsports Park in Beckley, WV, Princeton Speedway in Princeton, WV, Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, VA, and Lizard Creek Speedway in Hanover, WV.

Hornsby picked up a pair of FASTRAK Division 2 wins last weekend at Beckley Motorsports Park last Friday night and Princeton Speedway last Saturday night. Kenny Peeples of Rural Retreat, VA took the win last Saturday night at Wythe Raceway and Hambrick was the winner last Saturday night at Lizard Creek Speedway.

This weekend, FASTRAK Division 2 competition will take place on Friday night at Beckley Motorsports Park, and on Saturday night at Wythe Raceway. Princeton Speedway is taking the weekend off, and Lizard Creek Speedway has not posted their schedule for this Saturday night.

Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA makes up FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series Division 3. After six weeks of competition, Tyler Bare of Rockridge Baths, VA and defending Division 3 Champion Justin Williams of Concord, VA have a barn burner of a battle going with one point separating them for the lead.

Bare has 258 points with two wins and five top five finishes in six races, and Williams has 257 points after two wins and five top five finishes in six races. Williams posted his second win of the season last Saturday night at the Taj Mahal of American Dirt Tracks.

Corey Almond of Appomattox, VA is third in the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series Division 3 standings with 225 points, Matt Quade of Mechanicsville, MD is fourth with 221 points, and Davis Lipscombe of Mechanicsville, VA is fifth with 200 points. Virginia Motor Speedway will take this weekend off.

Stutler leads the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series Division 4 standings with 358 points and Davisson is second with 325 points. Frazier is third with 301 points, Garrett Jones is fourth with 271 points, and Kaitlyn Frazier is fifth with 267 points. Kaitlyn Frazier is a non-FASTRAK member, so technically, that puts Trey Watson in the fifth spot with 237 points.

FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series Division 4 is made up of Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV and Elkins Raceway in Kerens, WV. Michael Duritsky took the win last Friday night at Elkins Raceway, and James Watson was the winner last Saturday night at Tyler County Speedway. Elkins Raceway will be in action this Friday night and Tyler County Speedway will take the weekend off.
