Jimmy Mars Flexes Muscle Throughout Dirt Late Model Dream; Cedar Lake Biggie Next!

(MENOMONIE, WISCONSIN) The #28 team rolled into the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 8-10 for the 23rd running of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream,' which once again carried a hefty $100,000 winner's check. The three-day crown jewel spectacular at the 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant drew 79 Super Late Model competitors. Things kicked off at the "Big E" with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs, which paid $5,000 and $10,000 to win respectively.

Jimmy Mars ran second in his heat race on Thursday night prior to leading five of the first nine circuits in the 25-lapper before settling for a strong third place podium performance behind only winner Scott Bloomquist and runner-up Chris Madden. On Friday evening, Jimmy won his heat race and later placed an impressive runner-up in the 25-lap main event behind only victor Mason Zeigler. When the stakes were raised in the Buckeye State on Saturday, the Menomonie, Wisconsin star scored a victory in his loaded heat race before registering a steady seventh place showing in the 100-lap 'Dirt Late Model Dream.'
