Ray Cook and Wynn Motorsports Debut on Podium in Bill Ingram Memorial; NGS Next

(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) Ray Cook made his debut with Wynn Motorsports on Saturday night, June 10 at the historic Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia. The annual running of the 'Bill Ingram Memorial' took center stage at the Atlanta-area speedplant and a $3,000 top prize was on the line.

Ray stopped the clock fourth fastest overall during the qualifying session prior to running fourth in the dash. The Brasstown, North Carolina standout then moved up to the third at the drop of the green flag in the headliner and ran there for all forty circuits to eventually finish behind only victor Derek Ellis and runner-up Jason Croft. Ray, who is popularly known as the “Tarheel Tiger,” will be back in action with Wynn Motorsports on Saturday evening, June 17 in the Peach State. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series will roar into North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia tomorrow night to preside over a $4,000 to win shootout.
