Daniel Baggerly Starts 2017 Campaign at County Line; Eyes Monk Clary Memorial

(CLARKSVILLE, VIRGINIA) The B&B Motorsports team, with Daniel Baggerly behind the wheel of their #16 machine, finally kicked off their 2017 racing season on Saturday evening, June 17 at County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina. Armed with a brand-new racecar, Daniel tripped the clock seventh fastest in Late Model qualifying and later started the $1,200 to win weekly main event from the inside of the fourth row.

"Bagz" then advanced up inside of the top five before fuel pressure problems eventually caused him to retire around the halfway mark in the 30-lapper. Daniel was relegated to a disappointing fourteenth place performance in his 2017 season lid lifter due to the mechanical woes. Full results from County Line Raceway can be viewed online at www.countylineracewaync.com.

The #16 team is currently eying a weekend off on June 23-24, but is slated to return to dirt-slinging competition at Clary’s Motor Speedway in Brinkleyville, North Carolina on June 30 - July 1. The I-95 Late Model Challenge Series will roar into Clary’s to sanction the annual running of the ‘Monk Clary Memorial.’ Following an open practice session on Friday, an $8,900 top prize will be on the line in a 50-lap headliner on Saturday night.
