Southern Nationals Bonus Series Visit to Ponderosa Speedway Cancelled by Heavy Rains

JUNCTION CITY, Ky. – June 23, 2017 – Officials with the Ponderosa Speedway located in Junction City, Ky. and the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels and Tennessee RV have agreed to cancel the June 23rd event scheduled for Ponderosa Speedway.

Due to heavy rains on Thursday and more expected from Tropical Storm Cindy into Friday, there is not a suitable makeup date for the event and the event has been cancelled. The Southern Nationals Bonus Series moves to Florence Speedway in Union, Ky. on Saturday Night June 24th paying $10,000-to-win where much drier weather is expected.

The Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series visits Ponderosa Speedway on October 13-14 for the 27th Annual Fall Classic paying $15,000-to-win.
