    Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Set for Busy Fourth of Weekend

    Glasgow, KY- June 25, 2017 (www.americanmodifiedseries.com) - The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will celebrate America’s 241st birthday in grand style with a busy Fourth of July weekend that will see the tour present four events in five days in three states. The quartet of events begins at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN on Friday June 30 with a $3,500 to win/$300 contest, followed on Saturday July 1 at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN, Sunday July 2 at Windy Hollow Speedway in Owensboro, KY, and concludes on Tuesday July 4 at Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, IL, with all three of those events paying $1,500 to win and $200 to start.

    The action begins at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN on Friday June 30 as Tom White and Company presents the Independence Day Celebration, that will see the tour in competition in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and the 40 lap, $3,500 to win/$300 to start A-Main event. Other divisions in action at Bloomington Speedway will be the track’s 410 Non-Wing Sprint Cars, RaceSaver Sprint Cars, and Super Stocks. Also, the track will present a huge fireworks show at dark on Friday evening. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50. All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money. Activities for the Friday June 30 event at Bloomington Speedway will see the pit area open at 4:30 p.m. and general admission area open at 5:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by time trials, and racing at 7:30 p.m. All times EDT. Ticket prices at Bloomington Speedway on Friday June 30 in the general admission will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free, while a pit pass will be $30.

    The tour moves to Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN on Saturday July 1 as part of the track’s 3rd Annual Born Free 40, with the series in action in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main event. Other divisions in action at Brownstown Speedway will be the MARS East Dirt Car Series Super Late Models racing for $5,000 to win, plus Indiana Pro Late Models, Super Stocks, and Pure Stocks, plus the track will present a fireworks show. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50. All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money. Activities for the Saturday July 1 event at Brownstown Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 3:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., with practice beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by time trials and green flag racing. All times EDT. Ticket prices at Brownstown Speedway on Saturday July 1 in the general admission will be $25 for adults, while a pit pass will be $40.

    The third stop of the weekend will be at Windy Hollow Speedway in Owensboro, KY on Sunday July 2 for 97X Rocks Night, with the tour again in action in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main event. Other divisions in action at Windy Hollow Speedway will be the track’s Cruisers, Rusty Bolts, Bombers, Mini Stocks, and Scrappers, plus special musical guests Pick Your Poison and Lifeless Legend. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50. All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money. Activities for the Sunday July 2 event at Windy Hollow Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 3:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., with practice beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by time trials and green flag racing. All times CDT. Ticket prices at Windy Hollow Speedway on Saturday July 2 in the general admission will be $10 for adults, with children ages 8 and under free, while a pit pass will be $30, with children ages 10 and under free.

    The four-race stretch concludes at Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, IL on Tuesday July 4 with the series in competition with a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main event. Other divisions in action at Fayette County Speedway will be the UMP Dirt Car Summernationals for Super Late Models, paying $10,000 to win, plus B-Mods, Street Stocks, and Hornets. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50. All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money. Activities for the Tuesday July 4 event at Fayette County Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 2:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:00 p.m., with practice beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed immediately by time trials and green flag racing. All times CDT. Ticket prices at Fayette County Speedway on Tuesday July 4 in the general admission will be $30 for adults, while a pit pass will be $40.
