    Ponderosa Speedway Presents Full Racing Program in All Division Friday June 30

    Junction City, KY- June 25, 2017- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jamie Stumph and co-owner Larry Redenius will present a full program of weekly racing series action at the 3/8-mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” on Friday June 30 that will include all six of weekly divisions featured at the historic track.

    The racing program at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday June 30 will feature the Super Late Models racing for $1,200 to win in a 25 lap feature event, while the Pro (Crate) Late Models will compete for $800 to win in a 20 lap feature contest. Also in competition at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday June 30 will be the track’s Open Wheel Modified division racing for $700 to win in a 20 lap main event, with the KDRA Super Stocks racing for $600 to win in a 15 lap feature event. Concluding the racing card of action at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday June 30 will be the track’s Stock Four Cylinders racing for $300 to win in a 12 lap feature contest and the Mini-Cup/Cyclone division racing for $100 to win in a 10 lap feature event. All divisions will utilize the practice/time trial combo format to determine heat race starting positions. Transponder timing/scoring is used at Ponderosa Speedway and the rental fee for a transponder is $10. RACEceivers are also mandatory and are required to be in use each a competitor is on the track. Super Late Model teams will pay their entry fee and secure their transponders from the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series race control trailer.

    Activities for the Friday June 30 racing program at Ponderosa Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area gates open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m., followed immediately by practice and time trials, and green flag racing. Ticket prices for the racing events on Friday June 30 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free. A pit pass will be $30 for adults, while children ages 6 to 12 will be $15, with children ages 5 and under free.

    Ponderosa Speedway is located at 365 Phillips Lane on the Boyle/Lincoln County border, outside of Junction City, KY, just minutes from Danville, KY. Jamie Stumph is the track promoter.
