    Default Josh Richards

This may have previously discussed on 4m but does anyone know why Josh Richards is only racing the Lucas Late model series exclusively since moving to Best Performance Racing? Thanks!!
If you don't know it, why make a fool of yourself by saying it!

He's not going to win the championship regardless.

That is a pretty definitive statement. Both T-Mac and Richards are well within striking distance of Bloomquist at this point. Either drive is more than capable of going on a tear and winning or running well in 3-4 shows and if Bloomquist has a bad night or two they are right there. I wouldn't count your chickens quite yet on the LOLMDS series. Bloomquist will likely win, but it is far from a guarantee at this point.

    Thanks,
    Jeff.

Why did Josh pull off his old man in the first place? Anyone know for sure?

    Good for BShepp however.

    Family first. Makes sense...

So Josh's in-laws live close to Best inc?

Yes, about 45 minutes away. I think that had something to do with Josh taking the BPM's ride.

That and I think Josh wanted to race for someone other then his dad. Kinda like having to prove some kind of point or something. Hes won almost everything he could on the WoO tour. Why not branch away and do something different?

I wouldn't be surprised if Pierce does the same thing at some point in the distant future. He might want to run a tour someday, and his father might not want to. It does not have to be all negative, it might work out for both.

I'm sure it would have helped Rocket over all to have two Rockets winning the two series championships. Obviously it isn't happening that way right now, but Richards still looks good and I think is more than capable of mounting a charge late in the season. Its tough to beat Bloomquist no matter which way you slice it but its not like hes back in 8th place right now or something. He is in a good spot, and maybe has his bad luck behind him - who knows. Should be a fun summer.

    Thanks,
    Jeff.

He was actually wearing an older kid Rocket shirt. Haha. I was having a hard time believing it myself just wanted confirmation.
