FASTRAK HEADS INTO $23,000 WEEKEND AND TRIPLE CROWN FINALE!

The FASTRAK Pro Late Model Series heads into a big weekend of racing and also the TRIPLE CROWN FINALE Friday Night 311 Speedway and Saturday Princeton Speedway.

With more than $23,000 in total purse money on the line, one of the toughest points battles in the country and also the Grand Finale of the TRIPLE CROWN this is sure to be a huge weekend for tracks, teams and fans alike. Always a fan favorite at both 311 and Princeton fans are encouraged to being lawn chairs just in case.

The FASTRAK SE Tour is the closest points battle in auto racing in the country. The points chase has enjoyed a different leader at every single touring event all year long with the exception of the 24 of Mathew Nance as he led going into last weekend’s Wythe raceway event and still held the lead when the race was finished there. Everyone was talking about how close the points battle was before and after that event and 311 and Princeton events are sure to be the same. Whew! It’s exhausting.

The 1 point per position battle now has the #24 of Mathew Nance in 1st with 241, #8 of Ron “the Bull: Parker 235, #55 Benji Hicks 231, #83 Jenson Ford, Cla Knight 223 making it only 18 points separating the top 5 teams. That’s the tightest points battle anywhere. Who knows where that might be by the end of the weekend? Any of these five have a good shot at leading it by the time the Princeton event is concluded.

This will also be the last race of the 13th Annual “Triple Crown”. Having been rained out over Memorial Day weekend the three race shoot out will be completed at Princeton on Saturday night and the winner will be crowned on the front straight after the event. They also pick up a huge trophy cup, crowned, put on the robe and given the scepter in front of the huge crowd expected at Princeton.

On top of all that a provisional will be awarded for the UBB Memorial coming up the very next weekend at Princeton. It will be an exciting weekend to say the least at Princeton and 311 with so many battles going on and so much on the line for all these teams.
