Thread: Rocket XR1

    Default Rocket XR1

How much can be saved by just buying a frame or frame and (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)pit over a full roller and adding parts yourself? Is it worth it the price savings to add parts yourself? I haven't been around many XR1s so how hard would it be to get everything done correctly in our own shop?

Depending on where you are located, or how far you're willing to travel, try contacting MME in DeKalb, IL:

He can at least answer your questions.

I bought an xr1 with just the frame, decking and brake lines installed and put it together myself.... it wasn't hard but I had a good parts guy that races them and knew what parts i needed. Tye tworag is who i get all my parts through. he is very cheap and knowledgeable.
