Leafs> sliders vs shackels, swivles vs rubber bushings

I am struggling to figure out what is better on a camaro running on 3/8ths smooth dryslick. I know a slider gives a more consistent rate but are you giving up so much in the way of being able to give some for the side bite that your better off on a shackle for dryslick. What about the ball swivles you can use in place of a rubber on back of the leaf. I know they remove some bind in extreme roll but does it hurt you not having that rubber to absorb some of the shock as you enter the turn?I'm struggling with resaerch in this area and I having a hard time measuring the changes in the car between them
