    Default Eldora water truck

Did they get it fixed so we can see a hammer down speed fest or will it be a dry dusty slow motion skating rink?

The Baltes Classic might provide a clue. This is bad.

Eldora puts on better race when the track is slow and slick!

Guess I'm lost on this tacky track thing. Eldora has never been tacky (except when it rains) they don't want it tacky, they want it smooth, and by they I mean the drivers, these cars today are not like the heavy cars in the 70s and 80s they are so light built they can't take a heavy track very long. The promoters understand this concept. Why is this such a topic season after season? It's been this way for years, it's gonna continue to be that way for years to come. Accept it or stay home. You can bet the stands will be full no matter what.

Actually the cars in the 80's were lighter than they are now. And if you won't take a stand for better track conditions that's your choice.

About the only thing he got right was the stands will be full no matter what. And please explain why lap times have slowed if the track has always been dry slick.

There was a time with no weight rule. So, technically true. But the suspension was much more durable.

Buy a pit pass this weekend and ask 20 drivers what track conditions they want or favor and let me know.

Who cares what the drivers want, they're not sitting in the stands watching slow motion racing.

They're the reason you are in the stands. It's like Larry Moore once said, "if you don't like it, there's always asphalt"

So, you're gonna buy a ticket and a hotdog if there is nothing there to race? Interesting....

So it's all about the drivers wishes?
