Summit Racing Equipment AMS Big Hoosier State Weekend at Bloomington Sept 15, Lincoln Park Sept. 16

Glasgow, KY- September 10, 2017 (www.americanmodifiedseries.com) - The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series returns to action after a week off with a big weekend of racing in the Hoosier State as the tour will visit Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN on Friday September 15 for $3,500 to win and will make it’s first-ever appearance at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, IN on Saturday September 16 for the 14th Annual Patriot 100, paying $3,000 to win.

On Friday September 15, the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will visit Bloomington Speedway in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 40 lap, $3,000 to win, $300 to start Tom White and Company A-Main contest. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50. All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money. Activities at Bloomington Speedway on Friday September 15 will see the pit area open at 4:30 p.m. and general admission areas open at 5:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice laps set to begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by time trials and green flag racing at 7:30 p.m. All times EDT. Ticket prices at Bloomington Speedway on Friday September 15 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, while a pit pass will be $30.

On Saturday September 16, the tour visits Lincoln Park Speedway in for the 14th Annual Patriot 100 in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 100 lap, $3,000 to win, $225 to start 14th Annual Patriot 100 A-Main event. The event will be 100 laps in distance, with a ten-minute break at lap 50 of the contest to allow drivers to fuel and work on the cars, then run the final 50 laps to complete the event. The entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50 and all drivers that start a B-Main and do not transfer to the A-Main will receive $50 tow money. Activities at Lincoln Park Speedway on Saturday September 16 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m. and the general admission area open at 4:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., with practice laps set to roll out at 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by time trials and green flag racing. All times EDT. Ticket prices at Lincoln Park Speedway on Saturday September 16 in the general admission area will be $18, while a pit pass will be $30.
