    Post Left Rear Birdcage

    any one have any experience running a split cage on the left rear post on here or pm would be fine

    The 4 bars separated ( kind of their on cage) from the left rear shock

    How would the shock "birdcage" be mounted to the axle and rotation controlled? What would keep it from moving. Are you talking about a clamped birdcage?

    It would have one bar to the frame and float on the axle.

    Had a Bullitt like that. Ray called it a bite bar. Was adjustable on the frame up and down.

    What are the advantages of having one or was it just a trial and error they tried couple yrs ago

    It would allow you to change the dynamic wheel loading without any effect on roll steer.
