G-Body on dirt, asphalt pull-offs, stock style shocks, no spring adjusters or spacers allowed, stock engine location, 52% rear max, 3000lbs rule.
Have always ran weight jacks so a little unsure on a starting point on front spring heights. Car is a long way from ready, so calculator corner weights:
(3000 lbs No Left)
LF 713 RF 712
LR 788 RR 787
(52% rear)
(3000 lbs 52% Left)
LF 750 RF 712
LR 825 RR 750
(52% rear)
Local speed shop says LF 1100 RF 1200 and whatever height you prefer. Thinking I will start -200 from this on each side, never ran a no engine setup back class so may need to refactor. Also may try bilstein 3050 LF and 3060 RF shocks to start with using these springs?
In the past I usually measured on the front side of each spring bucket down to the top of the lower A to get a basic ride height. Maybe 2.75-3" on LF and 3.25-3.5" on RF was ballpark I think. This might equate to 10.5" spring on the LF and 11" on the RF with the corner weights above? To get 10.5 might mean trimming an 11".
Speedway advertises 5 1/5 x 12" as their best seller for stock cars? 11" LF and 12" RF seems a little tall. Any guesses? Thx.
