Eldora - 1988 - World 100 - Bloomquist wins in his first visit to the track!

But being new to racing myself at that time, I don't know that I would've appreciated the magnitude of that win, but I certainly can now.

I also never got to see Jeff Purvis race, and from what I hear of him, that would've been something to see just about anywhere, at anytime.

2001 DTWC to see the guys get Bloomers autograph on their shirts only to take them right off exposing their Hartman shirts and set them on fire.

Only went there a couple of times, but it was definitely one of the best tracks I have ever been to!

I cant remember what year but it was at PRP ....Last race of the year for the points .... I think Bloomer was down about 75 points if I remember right .... Seems like the 39 car was leading in points that year .... Richards had a good year too as I remember .... As I think back I recall the zero missed tech to everyone surprise .... T-Mac & Richards put on a driving clinic that year .... Anyone remember what year that was ....

And Bart now only runs heavy equipment.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

One of the early years of the Trick or Treat weekends @ Atomic. Had like six guys battling for the lead, was awesome.

    2004 (I think) BOB race @ Crossville.

I saw the top two live.

1976 World 100. To see Hughes win it. Seen the trophy enough and heard my dad talk abut it enough. I'd love to actually see it. I was still a little shy of breathing at that point.

That was Bloomquist very first race at Eldora and he passed Purvis on lap 49 for the win, lapping everyone except Purvis.
