Default Quick Change rear/ aftermarket transmissions

Can anyone confirm the rumors that USRA is allowing quick change rears and aftermarket trannys in stock cars? How about IMCA stock cars following suit?

yes its true it was announced at the nationals in MO. Doubt IMCA will follow suit. They are usually 10 years behind USRA in rule changes.

It will take IMCA a year or 2 to get manufacturers to put an IMCA stamp on them so they can charge more.

wow, a stock car roller will be 20k soon if its not already...

IMCA didnt stamp the quick change for modifieds, dont see them worrying about it for the stock car class.

Both options are cheaper only if you have nothing to start with.

I sold my mitchell with clutch for $1500 and bought a 30 night old brinn with coupler for $800.

So far I'm happy with the rule...LOL

Good deal your only giving up 10 rwhp to the improved brinn that came out two years ago thats why the market was flooded with used ones for a while.
