I like Brian but sure seems like GR could do better, or give someone a shot who hasn't gotten a shot yet....?
Don't know what happened to Brian's early season success, but the team struggled for most of the 2nd half of the season.

Same here. I�d like to see Tyler Carpenter, Jared Miley, Dave Hess Jr., Max Blair, etc. get a shot in that ride.

I'd say Brian's resume speaks for itself. I'm sure the Smith racing team wants to put the best available guy in the seat and probably don't care about doing favors.

Shirley could not carry around water for Superman. I dont understand how guys like him continue to get good rides like this while others struggle. You know hes gonna wad it up at some point over the weekend and blame it on someone else!

It would be like Visser saying yea I won 7 cup races with Truex but I think I will put Gilliland in my car this weekend!
