The Leftover Finishes Iron-Man Season on November 25th at 411 Motor Speedway
$5,000-to-win Late Models and $1,200-to-win Modifieds Thanksgiving Weekend

SOMERSET, KY (November 20, 2017)—The Second Annual Leftover race will be Saturday November 25th at the McCarter Family-promoted 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn. featuring the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Late Model Series and the Brucebilt Iron-Man Modified Series in their finale events for 2017.

On Friday November 24th, the track will host an open practice session to kick-off a big weekend at Tennessee’s Action Track. The gates will open at 4:00 pm and practice laps can be taken from 5:00 until 9:00 pm. Admission is $15.00 in the pit area for practice.

On Saturday November 25, the Leftover will feature the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Late Model Series racing 50 laps for $5,000-to-win and $450-to-start along with the Brucebilt Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series racing 25 laps for $1,200-to-win. Along with the Series divisions, the Crate Late Models will race for $1,500-to-win, Sportsman will race for $700-to-win and Modified Street racing for $600-to-win.

On Saturday November 25th, the grandstand and pit gates will open at 11:00 am with the driver’s meeting at 2:00 pm and hot laps, qualifying and racing to follow. Adult general admission is $20.00 while adult pit passes and tier parking are $35.00.

Youngster Carder Miller of Salem, Va. leads the point standings into the final event over Levi Ashby of Cumberland Furnace, Tenn., Joey Standridge of Tellico Plains, Tenn., Jeff Neubert of Rockford, Tenn. and Billy Ogle Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn.

Shon Flanary of Surgoinsville, Tenn. has a 22 point lead on the Brucebilt Iron-Man Modified Series over Blake Brown of Corbin, Ky. Third place in the points is Zack Powers, fourth is Chris Kirk and fifth place is Jimmy Payne.

During last year’s exciting Leftover CT Promotions Late Model event, Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, Ga. captured the $5,000 payday over Jimmy Owens, Donald McIntosh, Jackie Boggs and Jason Hiett. KC Burdette took the $1,200 payday in the Leftover CT Promotions Modified feature event over Jimmy Owens, Lucas Lee, Clayton Miller and Victor Lee last season.

East-Tennessee Race Report has graciously placed a $100 Fast Time Award for the fastest qualifier for the Brucebilt Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series.

The Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Series will sanction the Late Model portion of the program. The entry fee will be $100. The tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier 1350, 1600 and LM40 along with the American Racer 48 and 56 tires allowed anywhere on all four wheels. All non-qualifier Late Model drivers receive $50 tow money.

The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will sanction the Open Wheel Modified portion of the racing program. The entry fee for Modified competitors will be $25. The Modified tire rule for the event will be as follows: Front- Medium, A40S, M-30s, A40, Hard, H40, & M-60 (siping allowed on front due to carry-over from 2016 season); Rear- Hoosier A40S, M-30S, A40, Hard, H40, M-60 and American Racer Hard and Extra Hard with no grooving allowed. The only tires that can be siped on the rear is the Hoosier M-60 and American Racer Extra Hard. All Modified non-qualifiers receive $25 tow money.

In all classes, RaceCeivers, gloves and window nets are mandatory. No exceptions per track rules.
