    Default Farmer city 74

So the date has been released may 10 & 11th 2018 is the 2nd annual farmer city 74 just wish fals and farmer could have made a deal where it could have been a fri and sat race. I know last years race on thurs guys didn't unload cause of the payout. We however none the less had a great time. I am not gonna get there ad much this next season but wish them all the luck in the world.

As I sort through what my next job may be, there's always the "what if I have to work weekends" in the back of my mind. If there were only one track I could race at regularly, without a doubt I would pick Farmer City. I can't even put my finger on exactly why, but I just like the place. And if guys don't want to unload because of pay, that's on them. It usually benefits guys like me (and I think you too)!

The guys i talked to said it was advertised for more then 7k and i seen the flyers the day they came out was advertised as anymore. I love the place and the room u have there. I am all for the locals or lil guys who don't have the million dollar equipment jet believe me.

Wasn't the purpose of this race last year was to bring in extra money to put towards improvements of the facilities? Has any improvements been done?

That would be the same weekend as the Thaw Brawl at LaSalle Speedway

I messaged FC about improvements. Said they did not make enough on the race but are going to try to fix up bathtooms and paint. Was hoping for way more.

Illini 100 weekend is March 23-24, with a rain date of April 13-14. http://woolms.com/news/268-2017-news...n-taking-shape

I know they fixed the P.A. system in the pits, but that may have actually been prior to the show. I appreciated the other "little" things they did, like the whole voting on Facebook, or giving away "door prizes" so to speak to those pre-registered. I won two pit passes to FALS.

It is a dump. They lie every year about improvements. Just close the doors already.

You must be a some kind of nuts. Lose one of the better tracks in Illinois. Who cares about improvements if the racing is good. Just fix the bathrooms and add a score board and I'm good.

People like you are why tracks can't make money. You want improvements, support the track.

I live between FALS and FC. They have lied for several years about improvements. I supported the track a handful of times each year early on and am fed up with them never following through with their big talk.

I swear, some of you guys I think go to the racetrack just to take a poop

I too appreciate a scoreboard but I'm not gonna let it spoil the night for me. Their are a lot of tracks missing scoreboards.
