Bud Moore. Total respect for him. Hie single handidly captured like 20 or 30 Germans in WW2. Not a bar stool story.. He really did it. Saw it on a documentary. Plus a heck of a racing mind. Condolences to family.

I was having trouble blowing the remote oil filter adaptor off of my 351c motor and Bud machined one for me that had longer threads that screwed into the block... he sent it to me via FedEx and wouldn't take a dime for it... just helping out a young guy I guess.

    A true American hero... RIP.

We had the honor of meeting Mr. Moore at Daytona. I think Geoff Bodine was his driver at that time. The drivers that drove for Mr. Moore reads like a hall of fame list. He was a credit to his sport, his country and to mankind itself.

    RIP Mr. Moore.

From an ultra decorated war veteran with a blue and red Ford to a furniture store with a flat black Toyotaaaa.....TSR taking 2 years to build a small block Ford for a sprint car when Bud Moore Engineering used to take weeks for such projects. Progress!! The good old days are now the almost surreal old days. RIP Bud. I'm glad Andy Durham still believes in what made us great.
