    Default Brandon Overton

I see where Brandon Overton has committed to running the WOO tour through May 12th and then making a decision as to what he will do after that. Since he did not follow the tour last season, I believe he would qualify as an old new driver...

He already has? He was in his own chassis when he won the WoO wasn't he?

Bloomquist and either Eckert or Owens (can't remember which one) won both series in the same year with a Bloomquist car.

Correct. Eckert. Was Scott building his own chassis when he won his WoO Title? I thought the Bloomquist chassis came later.

2011 Rick Eckert won the World of Outlaws title and Jimmy Owens won the Lucas Oil title both driving Bloomquist Race Cars. Bloomquist started the Bloomquist chassis in 2004. Madden drove one in 2005 and then Owens joined in 2007.

Funny, saying he (bloomquist) wants both titles. Even if they would win both in 2018. Doesn't mean squat because he is only going to build what he wants to build and sell to who he wants to sell too. Only thing winning both would mean to him is his head would grow 2 sizes instead of just 1.

Given the subject line...possibilities are endless.

Babb? Austin Hubbard? McDowell? Bub McCool? Billy Moyer? Brady Smith? Tim Fuller? or....T-Mac in a switcha-roo nobody saw coming.

Thinking it's likely McDowell or Overton.

And, on the Ferguson front for what it's worth...Moran posted on twitter a few weeks back about racing on tour against him in '18.

And yes I know Brady Smith sold all his stuff and retired 2 years ago, but he does meet the bill as a former woo driver.

He could race. You don't need to run a national series and have a big toter, especially where he's located. Run some local/regional events with a pickup and enclosed trailer off and on be done with it.

If I remember correctly, Brady's retirement wasn't so much about costs. It was about spending more time with his family.

Still possible. If you race around 3 times a month or so only. That's why I said run some local/regional events.

I just did some work for Brady over the summer. He has moved to the twin cities area and is a realtor. He said he can’t justify spending that kind of money to race, hard to find good help and he’s busy with his family.
