    Default Predictions for 2018

Since Eldora is not competing with Florence on April 28th and paying 5,000 to win will we see 30 or so late models there? Also will the Mansfield Million be a big event that will attract not just Lucas Oil guys but also ALMS and Local guys and rival Eldora and Portsmouth in fan and car counts? Also with an economy picking up will we see more regional and local guys venturing out to travel? Just a few questions.

I will go out on a limb and say there will be 30 cars for the April 28th race and Mansfield will get 75 late models for their race and you will see more people venturing out.

Pierce, a multi crown jewel winner, can't be ROY.

    1) Davenport super team disbands before the World 100.
    2) Boggs doesn't race a Kryptonite.
    3) There is a rollover at a Cook promoted event.
    4) There is a first-time winner of the World 100.
    5) Tim McCreadie finishes outside the Top 3 in Lucas points.
6). Less than 50 cars at the dirt Million.

    Florence -2
    Atomic - 2

I think it's because you can't have won a certain amount of 10k or more races to eligible. Bobby has won his fair share of those kind of races, including 3 or 4 big ones.

Hudson Oneal gets a couple Lucas Oil wins and finishes higher than his dad in points. Bloomer back on top in Lucas Oil. Overton wins WOO title by 1 point over BShepp.

I predict Matt Miller and Rick DeLong team up with Stephen McCullough with new XR1 and new motors and Matt gets his first globe trophy in September.

I predict your going to see some darn good racing in both series. The mansfield million draws 100+ cars and has a first time winner 😉 Bloomquist struggles getting in and out of car. Mark Richards is the new face of the dollar shave club. Hudson O'Neal , if they come out as strong as they ended last year, wins Lucas title. T-Mac struggles in 2018, fast but can't find the winner's circle.

    Predictions:

Brandon Sheppard wins the WoO title via winning the last race of the season at Charlotte. Second place in points Brandon Overton actually wins more races over the season, though.

Josh Richards wins the Lucas title. Bloomquist struggles mightily to start the season, but comes alive in August, but it’s way too little way too late to catch up. Richards also finally breaks through at Eldora and wins the World.

Jonathan Davenport and Kevin Rumley win 6 races (4 Lucas and 2 WoO), and finish 3rd in Lucas points. Multiple threads on 4M are made to discuss “what went wrong”.

Tim McCreadie has consistency issues and finishes seventh in Lucas points, but he does manage to win the Silver Dollar Nats, Hillbilly 100 and Dream.

Brian Shirley is out of GR Smith’s stuff by May. GR himself takes over driving duties and finishes out the WoO season. He does manage to pick up an upset victory in one of the prelim nights at the Firecracker.

Chase Jughans wins three WoO races and finishes 4th in points.

Chris Madden drops off the WoO tour before the great Western swing.

2018 is the last season for CBR on the Lucas series after disappointing results for both Lanigam and O’Neal.

Ray Cook’s various series have more flips between them than either national series.
