Should not matter. Neoprene should be the way to go. I have seen blue ones. Or there is always the old waxy covered paper gasket.
Just make sure you do not tighten neoprene ones too tight and smash closed the squirter hole.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

Thanks... I ordered a rebuild kit from Holley/Quick Fuel... Red gaskets... Alky specs. Don't know what PV they include in the lit but I'll find out!

Well Quick Fuel finally got my carb parts to me after 10 days waiting to ship... sent blue gaskets instead of red. I'll see how I like them.

I also bought a package of 5 blue non-stick carb base gaskets for $12.00 on flea bay... they seem OK.

I'm picking up my carb Tuesday night. I have an older BG alky 750 and I wanted to pull it down to pieces just to see what I have here and to check the size of the internal passages and boosters. Took the carb body to my buddie's shop who does lots of carb work and he installed new boosters (same .180's as the originals) and checked the sizes of the squirters and jets to verify they are correct... all is good.
