    Default 2bl bmod exhaust(Torque Boosters)

ok so what is with all the hype on torque boosters and torque plates? Has anyone really checked to see if these help on 2bl bmod spec motor? DyanTech makes the torque boosters and beyea makes torque plates I just wonder if these work. And how about just adding an 18" extension to your collector. All these things say they help with 25-4500 rpm torque but does anyone have real numbers?

Ive been researching it. I race in a crate class that doesn't allow headers, but I'm going to make a set of anti-reversion (torque booster) mufflers to do some testing with on the dyno. It wont be for a month or so but its in the works.

Anti-Reversion mufflers and torque boosters are very different inside.

We used the hendren anti reversion mufflers when he first came out with them. They were worth about 5hp and 10 lbs/ft of torque IIRC on the bottom end. Didnt make much difference in midrange or top end. This was on a 2bbl stockcar motor.
