They had way fewer sprints than latemodels when they ran them. And the fans there come for the latemodels. I don't see it working out. Guess we will see? There was always 8-10 lates weekly and any one of them could win. Because it was so competitive a lot of average racers or people willing to travel felt it wasn't worth the effort. The drop from having 16-18 cars had to do with the previous promoter and the poor track conditions. By the time the track got fixed guys had sold their cars or moved away. If the new owners would give it a chance and get someone to front the latemodels purse a lot would come back. And I'm one that had multiple cars there until recently.
