I thought it was blackie, krooser and s.s. new 2018 chassis they developed. They might not know how to weld but they can spray.

You home about harbor freight but you should really check out their new line of Vulcan welding products. They supposedly hired a Lincoln engineer and they are quality pieces. I'd try one. Especially since they have a year warranty no questions asked.

I,m a miller man , but my neighbor across the road just bought one of those Vulcan,s and it welds pretty good , only complaint i had was it will cycle out pretty quick on long continuous welds , but for small jobs, it did fine......

If you have never welded a chassis, as I haven’t, and surely this guy hasn’t, have someone there to get you going. Some of them welds were not even on both pieces of metal. Just laying on one piece. Looks like no wire wheeling or welding hammer used either. Hopefully he tears it apart and has someone with experience help him.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Haha well played. If chassis takes off you can say you was part of it. If it flops you can say they was ignoring you how get going.

CnB it kind of throws me off, tubing work looks good. The person welded this needs more time. I can tell some parts he was burning to hot with low speed feeding and some to cold with wire feed to high. Dont know if would trust them welds put 4 cylinder+ motor on it. Maybe 5-10hp so i wouldn't mess myself up to bad if the welds broke lol. But hey I been shocked on some people gorilla snot that they do hold up.

I thought you collaborated with Rumley on a new design.
Those welds were perfectly engineered to allow those components to flex as one piece!

Yep, one large flexing death trap.

True. If it looks like crap, doesn’t mean it hasn’t penetrated, and that it won’t hold. But those that are good welders, take pride in everything and not only will it look good, it’ll hold.

Looks like a bunch of chicken weld from a pre schooler.. that weld needs to penetrate and flow into what ur welding or it will bust loose. Slow your speed down on your wire feed and might have to turn up heat.
