    Default Illini 100

Any thoughts or insider information on the Illini 100? Are they going to get it in?

It's still almost a week out, and the NWS says the forecast confidence is still pretty low, hence the chance of r**n each day. As it gets closer, some of the precip will likely be dropped from the forecast.

I hope FCR and LaSalle stay rain free. Both races are looking like a stellar field of cars. Especially LaSalle with the Lucas Oil MLRA coming to 1/4 mile for the first time.

If any of them fall victim to weather, I hope it's FCR, since there is already a backup date for that event. Not sure about LaSalle. Let's hope for the best.

What is the backup date? I didn’t know one was already determined.

No it's not. I would expect a decision to be made by Thursday so nobody hauls out here for nothing, but who knows? At least they have a backup plan. I think this race is simply scheduled too early. March in Illinois is usually a rainout waiting to happen.

I think that plan should be put into play immediately, very low temps and chance of
Snow. Sure forecast will change but not
    That much
