    Default Dry Sump, Vent?

Were getting out new Engine ready, and i noticed the valve cover is sealed !

Are these new builders running the engines sealed off and pulling a lot of vacuum in the engine?

Our old engine we always ran the Peterson relief valve, this one has nothing. Kind of concerns me really. Any thoughts?

    Thanks, Krom.

With no Peterson popoff you risk blowing the oilpan or valvecover off.

Yeah, that's why we always have had one on. Not sure why people have gone away from them.

If you don't have one, what would cause the crankcase to build pressure? excessive blow by?

If you happen to lean it out & burn a piston, you bettter have a popoff valve.
