I was thinking more along the lines of a bellcrank for a shock mount that is locked out to engage a 700-1000# spring. The bellcrank ratio would be designed to hold the car up at the rod pressure of the shock at ride height and actually race on a spring. Think of all the money you could save to spend on tires.
They got rid of the rules after taking forever to get them in place. Now they allow any bumps, Multiple rubbers, Just no stacks or dual stages and no progressive.
