I left the door wide open. Any other than Bloomer getting passed by chance?

Pat Patrick coming out of turn four, last lap of the B Main to take the last transfer spot to the World 100. Can't remember the year. 1983 I think. Anyone remember who he passed?

John Gill going from 5th, I think, to 2nd in turn 3 and 4 on the last lap of his heat race at Eldora. I forget if it was the Dream or the World.

It wasn’t a late race pass per-se but back in 06 at a WoO race at Lernerville McCreadie and Eckert went toe to toe for the lead for about the last 25 laps of the 50 lap feature, McCreadie on a big fat cushion and Eckert on the hub. Last lap, going into three there Eckert was maybe a car ahead, but spun coming off of four and McCreadie went on to win, which garnered a pretty big reaction from the crowd. Locals finished 4th and fifth that night, too.

2013 Rick Eckert passed Tim McCreadie coming off the high side of turn 4 to take the white flag at the National 100 and go on to win.
2002 World 100 Birky passes Bloomer coming to the white as well.
2017 Spring Nationals Opener at Senoia. Bloomquist passes Cat Daddy with 2 to go in a race that saw 2,3 and 4 wide racing.

Bloomquist had a part break in that race. Would have to research as to what broke. So, a gift.

If I recall, it was some sort of catastrophic rearend failure. I wasn't there, but I think someone said the driveshaft was hanging down as he was pushed over the scale.

1988 Bloomquist passing Purvis for the World 100 win on lap 51 and Purvis passing the torch to Bloomquist that night.

2008 Bloomquist starting last at the Show-Me 100 and passing Mars with 5 laps to go. After the race Mars said "I would go down there and pat Scott on the back and tell him good job but I'm sure he's doing that enough himself". LOL. Mars was so upset after that race.
