    Default Casey Roberts

Seems to be struggling a little bit with Blount. Maybe trying to get use to the XR1? Hopefully he gets it figured out. Good Driver

Yeah, I don’t believe he’s ever been in a Rocket before. There’s gonna be a learning curve. But I do believe he’ll get it worked out and get back to winning some races.

Casey had never driven a Rocket until he started driving for Blount. His last cars were Longhorns. Before that he had Barry Wright, Capital and Victory Circle cars.

Pretty stout competitor in the assorted chassis used by the Cushmans. So far, not very stout in the Blount owned chassis.

in the Cushman ride Casey called all the setups and adjustments, I believe at Blount he has a crew chief to deal with. Not knocking either party but sometimes a clash developes, a difference of opinion. Then what you get is one party telling the driver he should be able to drive it how its setup instead of trying to give the driver what he needs. Seen it a hundred times and it tends to hold the team back. Not saying thats whats happening here, but it is a different situation than what Casey is use to. Like Earnardt and Larry McReynolds, sure they won the Daytona 500 together and both were awesome separately, but together it was a, "No-Go".
