Southern All Stars Return To Duck River Raceway Park For the Ducktona 40

FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab returns to the Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN., for the first since 2001 for the Ducktona 40, a 40 lap Southern All Star sanctioned event paying $4,000 to win Saturday night April 21st.

The Southern All Stars have storied history at the ¼ mile middle Tennessee dirt track with 15 races held there from 1992 through 2001 with great racing and huge fan base. Ownership changes kept the series out of the track till 2018 when track promoter Rickey Spurgeon came over from Thunderhill Raceway in Lawrenceburg, TN., to promoter Duck River this year and he moved the Southern All Stars races he had scheduled to Duck River along with two events at another southern middle Tennessee track that has not been on Southern All Stars schedule in a few years and that is Winchester Speedway in Winchester Speedway.

1997 Southern All Star Champion Dale McDowell tops the win list at Duck River in Southern All Stars action with 5, Mark Mears 4, other wins by (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ie Miller, Bo Shirley, Byron Michael, David Gentry, Jamie Perry and Rex Richey.

Tristan Sealy of Moultrie, GA., will lead the Southern All Stars drivers into the third event of the season with Fayetteville, TN., driver Jay Scott second place in points as well as leading the Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com rookie battle, third place is Ray McElhaney of Pulaski, TN., fourth place Mark Dodson of Caledonia, MS., and fifth place is Brad Skinner of Spring Hill, TN.

Other drivers from across the southeast that are expected to in action include Spencer Hughes of Meridian, MS., JR Mosley of Columbus, MS., Joseph Faulkner of Flintville, TN., Tommy Taylor of Lascassas TN., David Seibers Chapel Hill, TN., Josh Putnam of Florence, AL., plus many more.
