Malvern Bank Series now opens season at Crawford County Speedway

With I-80 Speedway's Spring Meltdown following to the weather, the Malvern Bank Super Late Models will now open their 2018 season at the Crawford County Speedway in Denison, Iowa on Friday, May 4. Jesse Sobbing won the 2017 series race at Crawford County.

The following night the series moves to the Park Jefferson International Raceway in Jefferson, South Dakota for night two of the weekend swing. The 2017 series event at Park Jefferson fell to the weatherman, but in 2016 Bill Leighton, Jr. won the series event at PJ.

There will be fierce competition from several other drivers as well. Corey Zeitner, Bill Leighton and Ben Schaller will be back to battle it out. Justin Zeitner will be returning to late model competition as the driver of the GRT house car, Matt Buller, Andrew and Brian Kosiski should be in the thick of things as well.

2018 series sponsors include: the Malvern Bank, Beyea Custom Headers, Dynamic Drivelines, Helmet Head Design, Hooker Harness, Hoosier Racing Tires, Keiser Wheels, Keyser Manufacturing, Penske Shocks, Performance Bodies, Real Wheels, Roth Racing, Sardeson Racing, Simpson Race Products, Speedway Motors, SSS Motorsports, Swartz Xtreme Race Cars, VP Racing Fuels-Heartland, and Zeitner & Sons, Inc.
