Dirt crazy you might be right. I was at atomic and I noticed his car bouncing/hopping more than others and wasn’t rolling over the right front nearly as much as Richards or Shepherd in the feature. Could be a learning curve or maybe he needs to listen to Richards over pops?
-
I seen a few races the pierce raced and looks like he is fighting the steering in that car

Are they doing any testing anywhere during the week? Maybe they need someone like a teammate to actually work together and bounce info off of. Who's to say any of the other rocket guys aren't just blowing some smoke I there face on setups

Ive though the same thing... Mark has championship teams in each series one being the team he owns and one being his son...why would he give the secret recipe to Pierce team knowing the talent Pierce possesses and what the outcome could possibly be, that could be me just looking for an excuse, but it has crossed my mind lol...

Because Pierce paid retail for a Rocket chassis and that’s the way it should work. I always catch flack when I say it’s a coincidence the man has sold over 5k cars and only 2-4 win on a nationals level. That’s why you have to be smart enough to build your own chit and drive it down their throats!

They have the wrong shocks on the car. You’re never going to be able to set the car up right with the wrong shocks on it.

Has anyone told them thay ain't got that xr1 race ready?
Won't thay sell 'em the right shock package or what?? Gawd!! Smh

Didn't they try running Lucas a few years back with their own stuff with similar results? Maybe it's the competition week in and week out, and not just hand picking which tracks you wanna race against the big boys at.
-
I didn’t say it! Out loud at least

That was several years ago, before he reached the status he is at now. And he wasn't doing that bad when they dropped off.

That's the truth, but I'm not gonna back you up when all the angry booby fans come knocking on your door.

it was a money issue...pierce had a good shot at ROY too...after they flipped at Tazwell they were off the tour...hard to drive all over the country when you can race for the same amount in your backyard

Here is something to think about. EPJ won 1 maybe 2 races in the last 5 years in the 1 car. Earl didn't forget how to drive, as we can see in his new ride. Bad luck, bad decisions or bad car prep? Who can say? Bobby didn't forget how to drive either. They are not giving Bobby what he needs to win, just like they didn't for EPJ.
If your looking for excuses, there are a lot. Testing. Different car. Different Engine. Most of these tracks, Bobby has never seen before, much less ran a lap. And yes the competition is tough. But those are just excuses.
The key to this is Bob Pierce, a measuring stick and getting threw these new tracks at least once. I expected more, but you don't know what you don't know.

Earl is with one of a small group of people capable of fixing his performance. Don't throw the DB team under the bus. It's all different personnel now.
It's not like they fielded junk or had cars falling apart. They just didn't have the right know how making the right calls. Now, the new regime has the same issue. But, seems to slowly be improving.

Not throwing anyone under the bus,but the team itself for whatever reason just hasn't had the results most people expect for quite awhile. Hope they get things turned around.
-
To my knowledge, they fixed the shock issue a couple weeks back. The 32 was in Shinston not too long ago.

Its a new team and chassis for Bobby, and he's racing against 1 of the 2 toughest fields of drivers in the nation who have raced multiple of times at tracks Bobby is probably visiting for the 1st time.
He's tied for 8th in points, and only 60 being T-Mac for 5th. It's going to take time for him to get his feet under him. And Danny Myers as a car chief?! C'mon man.....

Bobby looked pretty good last night that restart messed him up having good top 5 finish. Bobby been up and down with the chassis and team change but I can say this he been racing really clean this season. Think lot people giving him alot grief for no reason and has to high expectation for him/team. First year on national tour haven’t raced on lot of tour tracks. Say he doing better than people give him. He only 60 points behind being in top 5 in points.
