    Default Dry sump question

    putting dry sump on my motor, i have a 40 tooth htd pulley with a bert crank pulley anyone know what drive belt number i would need? thanks for any help

    I’m pretty sure my pumps all have 40th pulleys and that takes a 640

    depends on the pump but a wulff pump would be a 600, can't speak for the others

    this is a weaver with a 40 t peterson drive pulley

    The 640 was on a Barnes

    Depends on whether its a falcon,bert or brinn bellhousing.

    Buy a 640 off amazon and if it doesn’t fit you’ll at least know how much smaller you need

    guys i mounted the pump and a 600 belt is to long do they make a mounting plate that will raise the pump?

    i know some pumps used a 560-540 but thats been awhile since I've used one that small, but to your question not that i know of

    I always used a 580 belt with our set up.

    You can take a string and use that to measure with but, 20 MM short would be just over 3/4" so you'd see about half that at 3/8" difference in pump hieght to tighten belt. So if it seems like pump needs to go up more guess how much more and use that above to guessimate how much difference in MM's you need for a belt.
