I watched it stop a 4000lb pro 4 truck this night. It made a believer out of me. I for the life of me can't understand why the allowed people to stand down on the concrete this night.

It mangled the fence, but didn't penetrate it. Nothing snapped off or broke. When we left we walked down by it. They were basically going to have to replace the whole turn 4 fence from where it stretched and bent everything.

There is a video of someone standing down near the flagstsnd.

Crazy, usually Eldora never allows fans to stand that close to the fence. I'm not sure why they were on this night? Normally they announce to stay away from the fences all throughout the night during events.

I was there when Jimmy Mars flew into the fence at the Dream a few years back. Fence did it's job that night also. It was scary looking, but he popped right out.

I've almost never seen the track surface look that good for the World 100 or Dream. Did it rain a lot or was this intentional??

The track was very smooth and fast. Had a nice down pour about 2 hours before hot laps. The track was the best I've seen it in years.

The engines in those trucks are very similar to what is in today's supers. They just have 180 degree headers on them that make them sound wild. They have to run those style headers because of engine placement, and the risk of mashing them shut. Pro Power and Vic Hill build a lot of these.

Brad Doty. I think 1988, not positive.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

49 jack *** why would you ask if someone got paralyzed ? The use of the word is wrong just wrong. You get the (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) of all questions reward.

It’s a flippin question, and he was correct. Should he have just said, is that where Steve Kinser became a vegetable and raced wheelchairs?

No. He asked a legit question in the right place. Yes Brad Doty got paralyzed, yes he was dam good, no it did not stop him from being productive. And he still had a family, and was pretty active, and looked good. And his spirits seem to be fine too. Grew up and I believe still lives around Apple Creek, I think it is, Holmes County, Ohio. Was childhood friends with the Jacobs, and the Haudenschilds. His book is a very good read. Another person I really admire/respect is Brad Doty.

Settle down!! Good grief he just asked a simple question. Since when did the work "paralyze" become a horrible word? Yes, Brad Doty was paralyzed at Eldora in 1988.

    Here's the crash
